The Venue - Reid Park Pit Complex, Boundary St.

DIMENSIONS OF LIFT, STAIRS AND GARAGES

 

First floor - access is by the lift or stairs.

Measurements are:

Lift: door width 900ml / Length 2.1m. Max load 1000kg

Stairs width 1.6m

 

Ground floor garage dimensions are 12m x 12m. Each garage has 2 roller doors at 2.3m high / 4.9m wide 

 

Exhibitors with large displays, vehicles or machinery, please contact Cath Cowan on 0417 730 112 to make arrangements for access.

WH&S and Insurance

You must ensure the safety of other exhibitors, the public and students throughout the event including the bump-in and bump-out and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance wtih the Workplace Health & Safety Act. Exhibitors are responsible for providing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and supervision.

A Safe Work Method Statement must be completed and be available should one of the Steering Committee request it.

Glass bottles or containers are not permitted outside the Reid Park Pit Complex.

There will be a First Aid site and qualified First Aid Officers on-site. Any major incidents must be reported to the SF4NQ Coordinator.

Public Liability Insurance 

You will need to provide us with a copy of your Public Liability Certificate of Currency.

Rubbish Removal and Cleaning

The SF4NQ Steering Committee will provide wheelie bins with plastic liners and mini skips.

Please ensure you put black plastic on the floor if your display is messy.

If you have a vehicle as part of your display, please bring a drip tray. Easier to catch the oil drips than clean them up.

If you have a blower vac / spare broom please bring it along to assist with the clean up.

It is essential that we leave the venue absolutely clean and free of debris...or we will be charged for cleaning fees...MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK. 

Smoking

Smoking in or near the builing is prohibited. There will be a designated smoking area on the site plan.

The only thing that truly matters at the end of the day is that we all go home alive and well.

Access will be from the Civic Theatre end of the complex
